Why is mowing high good for my lawn?
High Five for Mowing!
- Scalping (turf damage from mowing too short) won’t be an issue.
- With each mow, you’ll clip the optimum amount of the leaf blade. (Psst…that’s 30%)
- High mowing promotes root growth and improves drought tolerance.
- Controls broadleaf weed and crabgrass by shading the soil surface.
- Makes a grub-tolerant lawn because of the larger root mass.
